This Privacy Policy describes how the QuizPaws service (the “Service”) collects, uses, and processes users’ personal data.

When you sign in with Google, we obtain:

Passwords are not stored by us.

  • User agent (browser/device type)
  • Session logs
  • App installation identifier (e.g. Firebase Installation ID) and push notification token (FCM registration token) if you use push notifications.

2.3 Usage Data

We store:

  • Game progress
  • Game results and history
  • User settings (language, theme, other preferences)

We use:

  • session cookies for authentication.
  • localStorage for saving interface settings.

2.5 Analytics

We may use Google’s analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics on the web and/or Firebase Analytics in the mobile app, if used) to analyze Service usage and improve the Service.
Google Analytics may use cookies and other technologies to collect information about use of the Service. These technologies may include cookies or similar tools.

3. How we use data

After an account is deleted, all personal data is irreversibly removed, except where retention is required by law.

Upon deletion:

Providing your email and name via Google sign-in is necessary to create and maintain your account and progress. If you do not provide this data, you may not have access to account-specific features. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.

We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the Service works properly. Some cookies are necessary (e.g. for authentication) and cannot be disabled. Other cookies (especially analytics) may only be used with user consent where required by law. You can manage cookies via your browser settings.
